TP&EE Is A Go, But Earlier Events Change Dates

The Timber Processing & Energy Expo is still on tap for September 30 to October 2 at the Portland Exposition Center in Portland, Ore. Organizers will continue to adhere to the directives of area health authorities and the Portland Expo Center officials. Exhibitors, now numbering 150, continue to sign on.

Meanwhile, the 37th East Coast Sawmill and Logging Equipment Exposition, or Expo Richmond 2020, which had been scheduled for May 1-2 at the Richmond Raceway Complex in Richmond, Va., has been rescheduled to October 9-10, 2020 in response to the global coronavirus pandemic. Attendee registration will open June 1. Show organizers commented, “Our top priority is the safety and health of our exhibitors, guests, staff, vendors and community.”

Xylexpo, the premiere Italian woodworking trade show that sees visitors from around the world, will move away from its traditional date in May due to the disruption caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. The show will be held November 10-13, 2020 at Fieramilano, Italy. Admission is free to those in the industry who pre-register.
